Cougs empower their communities locally and globally through leadership. At WSU we provide students with education and experiential opportunities to develop and refine these skills. This newly established collaboration between University Recreation and Student Involvement offers programming to engage and train in interpersonal skills, problem solving, communication, conflict resolution, goal setting, public speaking, planning and team building.
The 2013 Leadership and Engagement Awards of Distinction (LEAD), featuring the President’s Award for Leadership, is a celebration of Washington State University student leaders and those who have mentored and supported the efforts of these students as they work towards leadership and positive social change. Thank you to everyone who attended and congratulations to all the 2013 awardees. This event was live streamed for online students and others at a distance, and the rough video of the event can be viewed here. You can also view the 2013 Awardee List.
